Mallard View is a peaceful, adults-only glamping pod set on a family-run farm just outside the village of Cockerham in Lancashire. With scenic views, a private hot tub, and everything you need for a cosy countryside break, this studio-style pod is ideal for couples looking to relax, explore, and unwind.
I wanted to plan a trip to totally relax and that is what I got with this stay.
It was so peaceful and was lovely to wake up to the animals. The hot tub was also a lovely touch. Diane was a great host and recommended nearby places to visit.
I would love to come back for another stay soon.

Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed open-plan space with a comfortable double bed, a well-equipped kitchen (with an induction hob, combi oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher), a compact dining area, and a cosy seating space with Freeview TV and WiFi. The modern shower room features a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and soft towels, while underfloor heating keeps the pod warm all year round.
Step outside to your private patio, where you can enjoy alfresco dinners, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, or soak in the hot tub under Lancashire’s starry skies. Surrounded by countryside but within easy reach of Lancaster, the Forest of Bowland, and the coast, Mallard View offers a beautifully balanced escape.
There’s off-road parking at the pod, plus a traditional pub within walking distance and scenic walks right from your doorstep.
