Set apart from the rest of the site, Kingfisher is a spacious, studio-style Shepherd’s Hut designed for total peace and privacy. Located on our working family farm in Cockerham, this adults-only retreat comes with stunning countryside views, its own private footpath, and a sheltered hot tub looking directly onto the alpaca field.
Kingfisher is a peaceful glamping hideaway in a truly special location, ideal for slow mornings, starry evenings, and everything in between.
Diane is the most welcoming host on this beautiful site. The lodge itself is immaculate, everything you could need for a short break and so clean. The grounds the lodge is in are lovely with alpacas and goats just opposite. The hot tub is perfect to relax in and the fire pit bbq is ideal for cooking on. A visit to the Farm Yard brewery just down the road is an absolute must.

Inside, you’ll find a comfy king-size bed, smart TV, WiFi, and a cosy living space with a sofa for relaxing after a day exploring the local area. The fully equipped kitchenette includes a combi microwave oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, breakfast bar, and all the pots, pans, and utensils you’ll need for a self-catered stay. There’s also a modern shower room with WC, heated towel rail, and soft towels provided.
Outside, the private patio features a fire pit/BBQ, picnic bench, deck chairs, and of course, your own under-cover electric hot tub. It’s a calm, secluded space that’s perfect for soaking in the views and switching off. There’s off-road parking at the pod, plus a traditional pub within walking distance and scenic walks right from your doorstep.
